Rosyth's first game of 2010 was against Scone Thistle and after a 3 month period without a game was a welcome change to Saturday shopping with the seahag. With a few new faces in the squad and a few old faces in the management, the fans and committee were treated to a superb performance on the field. Dale buglass captained the team and was superb from start to finish. Big Del showed everyone why he is Rosyth's no. 1 with a string of great saves. Dean Ogg commanded the midfield with Scott Reid looking awesome in the tackle. The trialist was unbelievable attacking and defending. Brendan Cusick was a powerhouse going forward whilst Stevie Bell was the "stabiliser" tracking back. Big Wull Cadbury was simply amazing. Mark Brennan came close on a few occasions proving he will be a major force in junior football then Andy Wilson took the field. Scoring on his debut was superb, his speed was awesome, and that haircut - the whole committee went out on Saturday night to Neds Sheds and asked for an Andy Wilson. Rosyth were back on track for the title, nothing but promotion will do, and with Brian Vaughan linking with Ondrej going forward, the Rec are back!!!!!!!!!!Barry Haldane came on and stabilised the ship late on. C'MON THE REC, oh and the loddy Tanner hasn't lost his touch either.
